Ron putting epoxy on boat, guess what? It's dry now! No more leaks

No service for last 5 days, stranded on parts of river from tornado headwinds. Made it to holter dam, now just have to find a way around.

These clouds turned into a huge rainstorm that we got stuck in twice, wind & waves coming against us

Got a ride around cayon ferry dam + a lot of other help from mike and Allen of caird boat shop, thanks SOOO much!! Turns out I had met Allen's ex at fiddle camp. Small world :) also turns out he has played a strad violin belonging to Sibelius years ago, but he said "it didn't sound that good" LOL maybe bc he doesn't really play.

Finally made it to canyon ferry dam after 5 days on the lake :)

3rd day on canyon ferry lake, high winds yesterday, tricky getting around the point. We both had to row at the same time to Make it around. "Sail" (poncho) works great tho.

2 days ago woke up to these guys staring at us :) (near toston)

Capt Ron is a brilliant genius & made this wagon out of oars & wheels to carry our stuff around the 1st dam. Also thanks to Tony, who drove us around! He offered to help is load the turtle boat onto his trailer: " let's see if this this here Chevy starts up & then we'll have some fun right directly." 😊

THANK YOU John and Nancy (and Zoey) for all the help! They gave us potatoes & bacon & a bike pump & a map, & helped us move the boat up onto the wheels. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Nicest couple in the world!

1st day rowing from 3 forks to near tostan dam, boat leaked quite a bit, had to bail water every 15-30 min
